Prior to joining the financial advisory business, I have experience working in various industries, from engineering to corporate banking sales to pharmaceutical sales. Feeling that I was not doing well enough to provide for my family, I then explored various industries as a self-employed individual and finally decided to join the financial services industry with the Advisors Alliance Group in 2010.

I believe in resilience, perseverance, and always striving to be better. All good things take time to grow, and without that desire to be better than who you were yesterday, you will stay stagnant and eventually wither away.

In line with the mantra of making the lives of your fellow men better, I know that I’ll always be thinking in the best interest of my clients, my associates and colleagues. Winning awards will then be a by-the-way thing.

Empathy is a very big part of what makes a good financial consultant, and we must always stay true to our clients by offering solutions that you are confident you would also take up if you were in their shoes. This is what I always tell my associates to do before they propose a solution based on the client’s current situation. The question to ask is, will I take up the proposal if I were in his/her shoes?

I am certified as a chartered financial consultant (ChFC®/S) and a certified estate planner (CEP) and have a certificate in retirement adequacy planning,

I am a member of the International Dragon Award (“IDA”) and the Million Dollar Round Table (“MDRT”), which recognizes the top 5% in Singapore for my industry.

I was also part of Singapore’s 1st 100 IDA team in Singapore’s history to achieve the 100 IDA Team Award in 2018, and since then, we have been achieving it year after year.

With a keen interest in corporate insurance, I have also won numerous Top Corporate Solutions Director Awards and Top Corporate Solutions Senior Director Awards in AIA FA.

I am also a member of AIA Financial Advisers Pinnacle Club and was recognized by the Financial Services Managers Association at Singapore Management Awards as one of the awardees.
