I am Executive Director of GT Group of AIA Financial Advisers Pte Ltd, and I have been with AIA Singapore since 1990. In 2016, I witnessed the pinnacle of this career when I was awarded the prestigious ‘Insurance Agency Leader of the Year’ at the 1st Asia Trusted Life Agents and Advisers Awards. This special award looks beyond production figures, and measures awardees on their commitment towards professionalism and service to the industry.

I believe in doing my best in everything I set out to do, and that this is more important than being the best. This is a key driver that keeps me motivated. From 2013 to 2016, I have consecutively been awarded the Top Group Financial Executive Director (FSD) – the highest Agency Leader recognition.

In 2017, the Top Group FSD title was achieved by one of my promoted Directors, a testament of my commitment and track record in building successful and long term sustainable agencies and leaving an inspirational legacy. I have groomed and promoted many successful FSDs and consistently strive to institutionalise best practices to re-build and grow. With a strong platform for success and a track record for Agency building, to date, I have developed a total of 8 direct FSDs in AIA Singapore – with my most recently promoted FSD going on to achieve a record breaking $10M FYC in 2017, and in addition, the promotion of 5 new FSDs in 2017. I have also proudly groomed AIA’s first MDRT qualifier in the country.
